I haven't lj-ed for some time. I've been quite busy and nothing interesting has happened lately so I decided to spare people from my mundane posts lol. Real life isn't amazing so yeah. I need glasses though.

I've been watching a lot of stuff lately!!! I'm not sure why but Tegami Bachi isn't doing a good job keeping me interested through the whole season and Kobato is okay, but not really engaging...so what does Mira do? She looks for other stuff to watch of course! HAR.

Mushi-shi

Watched this out of sheer curiosity. I was watching it a few months back but as a person who has problems watching the last episode of a really good series (It's more like a NOOO I DON'T WANT IT TO ENDDDDD Thing), I only managed to finish this a few days back. Highly recommended.
Summary from wikipedia:

The story features ubiquitous creatures called Mushi that often display supernatural powers. Mushi are described as beings in touch with the essence of life, far more basic and pure than normal living things. Due to their ephemeral nature most humans are incapable of perceiving Mushi and are oblivious to their existence, but there are a few who possess the ability to see and interact with Mushi.

One such person is Ginko (ギンコ?), the main character of the series. He employs himself as a Mushi master (蟲師, mushi-shi?), traveling from place to place to research Mushi and aid people suffering from problems caused by them. The series is an episodic anthology in which the only common elements among episodes are Ginko and the various types of Mushi. There is no over-arching plotline.

It's episodic in nature so following through isn't a problem, all episodes are self contained. Calming but very engaging series. It's thought provoking as well. None of the characters are annoying, despite some of their bad choices. My favorite episode is the final one though. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

WELL YES I ONLY STARTED WATCHING YESTERDAY LOL. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I've only seen 2 episodes and they're pretty good. And-- I really like pretty much anything by Gainax.
I appreciate how stylistic it is and the colors are so bright and fun. It'll probably take me some time to finish it but hey, I'll try lol.

Casshern Sins
Stylized and pretty cool. I've only seen one episode and the animation is eyecandy.


Set in the future where the world is about to end, Casshern who is said to trigger the apocalypse has no memory of what he's done. And STUFF LIKE THAT. The premise is interesting. Only the torrent for it doesn't have a lot of seeders so I doubt I'll even see this through. :(

In other news I'm kind of failing at PDCMAH lately, I need to work harder so I decided to do some research with backgrounds and that sort of thing. I also need to practice perspective and all that shiz. I'm pretty sure I have self confidence issues now loooool. I've got to work haaaarrd. X3

I saw Paranormal Activity last night. The boyfriend was such a dick. But that doesn't mean I didn't feel sorry for him. So....Anyone else had their shit fucked up by this movie?

ARGH JIN IS ADDICTIVE AND I DON'T MEAN AKANISHI JIN, I MEAN THE JDRAMA. ARGH. SO GOOD. It's been a while since I watched a Jdrama, I think the last one I saw was Bloody Monday and I didn't even get to finish it. I'm only on episode 2 though, but I can't wait to download the rest and catch up.

Jin is amazing, the sets and costumes are gorgeous, the plot is intriguing, and HOLY SHIT THE CHARACTERS ARE SO LIKABLE. The actors are all doing a good job~ It's really a great drama I think. I hope I'll be able to finish it. And I really like Ayase Haruka. X3

As for anime, the shows I'm watching are Kobato, Aoi Bungaku and Fairy Tail. LOL SO DIVERSE. IDEK why people are ignoring Aoi Bungaku, it's so amazing!

Also, I recently watched the first episode of Tegami Bachi recced by Jayne, yukkie_bear's younger sister and they also recced me Kimi ni Todoke. I liked both of them but whether or not I can go and watch two more shows is the question, not to mention I'm watching Jin as well. @w@;;

BTW, Toma Ikuta fans on my flist, Aoi Bungaku's first arc is Ningen Shikkaku, which is also Toma's upcoming movie? IDK, based on the anime, it's definitely good.

So...the voice actor for Gendo Ikari (NGE) and Madao (Gintama) are the same person. I LOLED WHILE WATCHING THE END OF EVANGELION. I just keep on thinking about Madao whenever I see Gendo now and it doesn't help that they look alike too. DAMN.

But haste makes waste! Maybe I should start thinking about how to become an ultimate survivor in a zombie apocalypse. You never know when a zombie will attack. It could be your neighbor, your boyfriend, your grandma, your second cousin, your favorite jpop idol. One day someone you love will walk up to you, deadpan and pale...then...TAKES A BIG CHUNK OUT OF YOUR RIGHT ARM AND YOU WOULDN'T EXPECT IT.
